Board of Directors

The Board is the governing body that manages and represents the interests of the Association in accordance with the provisions and directives of the General Assembly.

It consists of a President, Vice President, Treasurer and several Members, all appointed by the General Assembly and/or the National Associations.

The Board shall meet at least once every quarter prior written notice of three working days in advance. Exceptionally, the Board shall meet at any time whenever half of its members and/or the President request it, in which case the notice shall be made in writing with the same timings.

The powers of the Board are:

To direct the activities and safeguard the economic and administrative management of the Association, agreeing to contracts and perform appropriate actions.
Implement the resolutions of the General Assembly.
To present and submit to the General Assembly the budget for the year and annual accounts in order to approve them.
Develop, where appropriate, the Internal Regulations of the association, which must be approved by the General Assembly.
Decide on the admission of new members, as the loss of such status. In both cases the applicants may bring an action to the General Assembly, whose decision is considered definitive.
Name delegates to any particular activity of the association.
In cases of extreme urgency, make decisions on matters whose is General Assembly’s responsibility. In this case, this will be managed in the first session it held, which shall be included in the agenda for ratification of the decision.
Any other option that is not the sole responsibility of the General Assembly.
