The DDR 2017 closed its conference program
The organization of the Forum and Expo DDR 2017 has already closed all the topics will be covered, which are focus on EU initiatives and legislation, projects, case studies and best practices, to make a total of 30 sessions with the participation of almost 100 speakers, panelists and moderators.
The event, addressed to demolition, decontamination and recycling professionals, and any other related with the Circular Economy, will be held in June, 14-16, in Brussels (Belgium).
The DDR 2017 will have two different spaces for the conference program: plenary room and workshop room, where will take place all the presentations from 9:00 to 18:00 on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th, and from 9:00 to 13:00 on Friday 16th.
During all this time, the exhibition room will be opened in order to find out the latest machinery and equipment of these trades and to make contacts between the attendants.
Some of the topics will be:
- Decontamination of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs)
- Demolition of damaged buildings and infrastructures
- Developing a Circular Economy in Europe
In addition, other topics will be chaired by the institutions partners:
- Recycling metals: trends and business opportunities, by METALS FOR BUILDING
- Recycling construction and demolition waste and resources, by FIR
Finally, the last day, the conference program will be focus on the directives of the European Commission, with the presentation of the CD Waste management protocol and the update of the Waste Framework.
The Forum and Expo DDR 2017 is for free, but the registration through its website is mandatory.
