European Demolition & Decontamination Annual Convention 2018: save the date


After the DDR Forum & Expo 2017, held in June in Brussels, the European Demolition Association, EDA, organizes its Annual Convention 2018 in June 7-9, in Vienna (Austria), this time focus on demolition and decontamination.

At the European Demolition & Decontamination Annual Convention 2018 will meet contractors, manufacturers and associations related with these industries in Europe, with the aim of protecting its interests around the continent.

In previous years, EDA has highlighted the demolition is every day more and more linked with other activities as decontamination and recycling, and for this reason, in the 2018 edition, EDA changes the name of the convention adding “decontamination”.

Conference & networking

The Annual Convention is a multilingual conference where the most important and relevant topics will be approached by highly professional experts.

The event will have an important technical part, with a full day conference about new developments, case stories and round table discussions.

These activities would provide an opportunity to meet professionals involved with the demolition industry.

With recognised experts and practitioners as speakers, the program will turn around the latest developments and innovations in the areas of selective demolition and decontamination, among others.

On Friday, the professional attendants will enjoy several conferences with speakers coming from all over the world to open the debate about the industries that join into the demolition area.

At the same time, there will be a leisure program which launch as a unique opportunity to discover the amazing city of Vienna, with diverse activities organized as the Welcome Cocktail, the Gala Dinner and visits to the most emblematic places of the city.

During these three days, contractors, suppliers, association’s representatives and other related professionals will have the opportunity to network with each other. Among all the activities, there will be coffee breaks at the Exhibition Area to improve the connection between professionals.

Leisure program

The Annual Convention will offer a complement leisure program for the attendances to enjoy their stay in Vienna and make the best of the time during the meeting.

To open the three days of activities, the Annual Convention will start with a Welcome Cocktail on Thursday, June 7th.

On Friday, for the companions of participants in the meeting, there will be an activity to know the city.

At night, and as every edition, the participants will enjoy a Gala Dinner.

These activities will provide an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues, contractors, manufacturers, association’s members and to add moments of joy during the professional meeting of the Annual Convention.
