The Decommissioning and Demolition Forum is on its way to London!

The 9th Edition of the Annual Decommissioning and Demolition Forum for Hight Hazard Process Plants’ is almost here! The event will take place in London on March 9th and 10th, reuniting once again the experts on the ecommissioning, demolition, repurposing, redevelopment and remediation processes.

This edition, the main focus of the forum will be placed upon the challenges faced by the European refining and refining industries. The newest environmental regulations, such as the Green Deal Industrial Plan, as well as the shift towards alternative fuels, represent an importat shift in the market. This begs the question: what will happen to the plants that will be shut down?

During the event, the topics of hazardous waste management, smart solutions and digitisation and use of explosives, and many others, will be discussed.

The EDA members will also take a part of the forum. In particular, the Holly Price, Group Sustainability Director for Keltbray and representative of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors, NFDC, will be one of the speakers for the event.
