Contractors are often faced with hazardous waste during their work, and these, along with the way must be managed, are different in every country.

This report offers a practical overview of which are the most prominent hazardous waste issues in Europe (including asbestos) and how each country takes care of them. It analyses the challenges of waste management, why these are important to demolition contractors and suggestions on “demolition good practices”.
