The Italian Demolition Association, NAD, celebrated a workshop in the frame of the trade fair ECOMONDO, held in Rimini in November, 8-11

Under the tittle “Focus on decommissioning of industrial and infraestructure systems”, the Technical Commission Coordinator of NAD, Mr. Ivan Poroli, and the Director of the magazine RECOVER, Mr. Massimo Viarenghi, were the moderators.

On the other hand, EDA celebrated a working dinner with the Board of Directors of NAD.

Represented by its Secretary, Mr. Jose Blanco, who could received the possitive feedback from the Italian colleagues, during the dinner some themes were on the table: the importance of the demolition industry in the circular economy, the situation of the Italian industry and the huge help NAD offers always to EDA.

Regarding the trade fair, ECOMONDO received 105,574 visitors (2% more than 2015) at Rimini Fiera over the four days, an event that is one of the references in the field of the Circular Economy.

The circular economy is the driver of the development of a planet that aims at redefining its ecological footprint, a context in which Italy plays a prominent role at European level and which the four days at Rimini Fiera confirmed.
