EDA and NDA reaffirm transatlantic cooperation in Phoenix

The NDA convention, held in the United States, brought together the European Demolition Association, EDA, and the National Demolition Association, NDA, once again, highlighting the strength of their transatlantic relationship.

The event, which took place in Phoenix and was staged from 4 to 7 February, brought together more than 1,200 demolition professionals and specialists from across the sector. Among those attending were EDA president Patrick Frye and Secretary General Jose Blanco.

Welcoming the European delegation, NDA president Ben Hayden, who also serves as vice president of operations at Hayden Wrecking, praised the ongoing collaboration.

Addressing delegates, Mr Frye emphasised the shared purpose uniting companies on both continents. “Even if we come from different countries, we do the same job, a demanding job that requires experience and trust. This convention shows the strength of our industry.”

Reflecting on the atmosphere in Phoenix, he added, “What I feel here in Phoenix is exactly what I feel in Europe, the strong community, shared values, and people who understand each other.”

To mark the occasion, Mr Frye presented a commemorative gift symbolising continued cooperation across borders.
