G1 – Technical Committee
The Techinal Committee is a permanent group, it is called G1.

The role of the Technical Committee is to handle any technical matter which is not included in any of the existing working groups.
The Technical Committee may act as result of an urgency (for instance, in case of an accident, to provide advice) or as part of office for general technical topics.
Whenever needed, a working group may also have subgroups.
G1S1 – Nuclear
This subgroup was created in 2017 to study the impact and activities of the demolition of nuclear facilities and waste management.

G1S2 – Regulation
The goal of this subgroup is to create a list of basic legislation related to the industry to be posted on the EDA website with links to the European Commission and national associations.

G1S3 – CEN/TC151
EDA is a liaison organization in the Technical Committee 151 ‘Construction Equipment and building machines‘, which is part of the European Committee for Standardization.
EDA has been involved in the CEN/TC 151 since 2021, when the association started to create technical guides about equipment for demolition and recycling.
