VOLVO CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT unveil their new generation EWR150 and EWR170 short swing wheeled excavators
Volvo Construction Equipment has unveiled its new generation EWR150 and EWR170 short swing radius wheeled excavators, now available across Region Europe. Building on a strong legacy, these updated models offer enhanced reach, lifting capacity, and a 10% increase in engine power for the EWR150.
A Volvo-patented electronically retractable ladder and four-wheel steering—both industry firsts—will debut in 2026. With the shortest rear and reduced front swing radius in their class, these machines excel in urban and tight-space operations.
Operator comfort is front and center, with an upgraded cab featuring a 12.8” touchscreen, ergonomic controls, and enhanced visibility. Increased hydraulic flow, customizable arm lengths, and advanced attachments further boost versatility and performance.
