As part of the professional program at the Deconstruction Forum, the case story: “from construction to recycling through demolition”, will explain the process of recycling the materials of a lighthouse after its demolition.

The company in charge was Cantillon, who was given the objective of ensuring that nothing from the demolition was sent to landfill and that 100% of the building materials and equipment were either reused or recycled.

Mr. Rimmer started working in health and safety in 1995. In November 2007, he joined Cantillon to become their first in-house SHEW Managener.

John Rimmer has developed the company’s health and safety, environmental and quality management systems to be individually UKAS certificated and also to be recognised as a certified Integrated Management System.

The Deconstruction Forum will be held in Madrid on June 12th to 14th, 2014.
