The cards were present in an event held at The Montague on the Gardens, London on 15th July 2016, which was for many the first opportunity to see the details of the new CCDO Smart Card Scheme that become effective from 31st August 2016.
What made the day really worthwhile was the breadth of questions asked, which were fielded by Mr. Howard Button CEO and Mr. Robert Squires of NDTG.
Of huge interest was the yellow Site Visitor card hich Keltbray in particular felt was a welcome addition to our range of cards.
Ms. Sarah Wicks from Build UK was on hand to offer her insight and perspective on the industry as a whole and we were proud to hear that this new scheme brings the Demolition Industry to the forefront of the wider construction industry – well ahead of the 2020 deadline.
These card can be a perfect model of reference to elaborate the European Professional Card, where EDA has been working last years.
