“Circular economy, resources efficiency & waste” – Green Week Conference

The Green Week conference, organized by the European Commission, will take place from 3rd to 5th of June at Brussels (Belgium).

This year’s theme will be: “Circular economy, resources efficiency & waste”, and the conference offers a unique opportunity for debate and exchange of experience and best practice.

In 2014 the Commission will set out new proposals enabling Europe to unlock the potential of the circular economy, underlining the need to change the way of thinking about design.

The program will also be focus on waste management, and on how it can help the EU use its resource efficiently.

Green Week is open to the public and participation is free of charge and also has an area for exhibitors.

The Deconstruction Forum: a Green Week satellite event

As a common space where worldwide professionals from the related industries involved in deconstruction, such as recycling, water jetting and hazardous waste management, can meet and connect, the Deconstruction Forum was elected to be under the category ‘Satellite events across Europe’.

The Green Week satellite event brings together an Agenda with eligible events taking place in May/June 2014 at local or regional level that include diverse activities around the environment topic.
