The European Demolition Association, EDA, attended both meetings, where the DG GROW of the European Commission, EC, presented this protocol.
The first one, held in Lisbon, was on June 8, while the second one, in Dublin, took place on June 22.
The objective was to inspire the professionals related to take up this opportunity for sustainable growth of the Portuguese and Irish construction & demolition waste sector.
In addition, the activitty was a great opportunity to exchange knowledge with stakeholders from the sector and share best practice and opportunities.
Finally, between both meetings, the EU C&D Waste Management Protocol was also presented in the frame of the DDR Forum & Expo 2017, an event organized by EDA and held in Brussels, from 14th to 16th of June.
