As ECCREDI member, the European Demolition Association, EDA, participated in the last council meeting, held by video-conference on 13 May, where the association presented the initiatives developed related to COVID-19: the public statement under the motto “Safety first”, the specific site with updated information from European entities and the launching of a dedicated survey to know the impact of the COVID-19 on the European demolition companies.
As well, the draft document of the Horizon Europe Partnership (Buil4People) was discussed to highlight the research and innovation pathways based on a holistic view of the built environment for sustainability and better living.
This partnership brings together the whole value chain to accelerate people-centric innovation in the built environment that drives the transition towards a sustainable society and economy, relying on the active engagement of its partners and a European network of Innovation Clusters.
