The European Demolition Association, EDA, organizes its Annual Convention 2015, which will be held on 11th – 13th June, in Helsinki (Finland).

EDA is an active part on this global movement of our industry, and is aiming now to go one step further, with the next goal of working towards international standards on the training of workers and the accreditation of companies.

In view of these aims, the Annual Convention 2015, which will be held at Scandic Gran Marina Hotel, will include activities to present, debate and define a roadmap for these international standards, as a conferences, presentations about new developments, case stories or round tables discussion.

The opening ceremony, conferences sessions and round table discussion will be held on Friday 12th, one day where the company of the delegates can visit Suomenlinna, a major place that is a World Heritage of UNESCO.

That night, all the participants in the Annual Convention will attend the gala dinner at the majestic Katajanokan Kasino, one of the most sophisticated places in the capital city of Finland.

The last day, Saturday 13th, the attendants will enjoy a visit around the main monuments of Helsinki, under a fantastic environment and the best temperature possible in the Scandinavian country.

For almost 30 years, EDA had two annual conferences (Spring and Fall) mostly every year, however, now the annual meeting has changed and it is called Annual Convention, which includes similar contents (technical part and optional leisure activities), with more workshops and a closer cooperation with the National Demolition Associations.
