EDA participated actively in the 6th High Level Tripartite Strategic Forum

Through its secretary general, Mr. Jose Blanco, the European Demoltion Association, EDA, was involved in the meeting, held in Brussels the 18th of January.

Under the complement title “Strategy for the sustainable competitiveness of the construction sector and its enterprises”, the objective of the meeting was to set the priority areas and actions that shall serve as the base for the future of the Construction 2020 Strategy, particularly in the areas of resource efficiency and digitalisation.

The meeting was divided in two different sessions: ‘accelerating Sustainable Construction practices? And ‘Looking for synergies with other initiatives’.

This activity meant the sixth of this kind, and EDA, in order to look after, promote and protect the interests of its members and the demolition industry in Europe has particpated in all of them.
