- The European Demolition Association (EDA) launches in March its working group on End-of-life of industrial facilities, which is going to develop an informative guide.
EDA, the European Demolition Association (EDA), is already working on a Guide about End-of-life of industrial facilities, which is planned to be publish on the second half of the year.
The working group on End-of-life of industrial facilities, which has just started its activity, will be in charge of preparing this guide, along with the EDA Secretariat. Its main objective is to produce this publication, a document addressed to asset owners and customers about the dismantling of the industrial plants (chemical, oil & gas, nuclear, …), to show the best practices of the demolition industry.
The work of this group will be divided into two phases: a first phase (between March and October 2021), focused on the development of the aforementioned guide, and a second phase (between October 2021 and March 2022), in which the focus will be on the dissemination of the publication.
EDA Guide about End-of-life of industrial facilities will be available around November 2021.
