On the occasion of the Study Tour Japan 2019, the European Demolition Association has been invited to participate in a Working Group about Climate Change and Environment, on April 23 in Brussels, organized by governmental delegates from the European Commission (DG GROW), the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Japanese Ministry of the Environment (MOE).

EDA General Secretary, Jose Blanco, will give a presentation on the forthcoming visit of EDA members to Japan, explaining the goals, the expectations and the motivations of the participating companies, as well as the collaboration with the Japanese stakeholders of the demolition industry.

The Working Group Climate Change and Environment between the Japanese METI and DG GROW, composed by governmental representatives from both sides, convenes in the context of the bilateral EU-Japan Industrial Policy Dialogue.
