The European Demolition Association held an ordinary meeting of its Board, just before the 2013 Annual Convention in Milan.
The EDA Board of Directors has at least one delegate from each member country, who speaks on behalf of its National Demolition Association/Federation.
Also, the members of the International Committee have two demolition contractors as delegates on the Board, who act as President and Vice President of this committee.

After 3 years as EDA President, Giuseppe Panseri handed over this role to Pilar de la Cruz, who becomes now the President of the association, and will assume this duty till 2016.
Giuseppe Panseri, founder of the Italian company DESPE, pointed out that it was a great honor for him to serve as President this time, and most specially to see the strength of the association.
He also thanked the colleagues from other countries, including the delegation from USA present at the meeting, for the support received during his term and asked for the same cooperation to be given to Pilar de la Cruz.
Mr. Panseri will continue to serve on the Board the next three years as Past President.
Pilar de la Cruz is a second generation demolition professional, running her own demolition company, VOLADURAS Y DEMOLICIONES, based in Spain.
She was involved with EDA for many years, as delegate and Board members, becoming now the first woman and Spanish professional to achieve the role of EDA President.
Mrs. De la Cruz thanked all the Board members for their support and will focus its energy on the continuous cooperation among demolition professionals and EDA members.
