On 5 June 2019, the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) is hosting an event to celebrate 25 years of working together for a safe and healthy Europe.
EU-OSHA’s partners will be welcomed to the ceremony at the University of Deusto, Bilbao. The event will be opened by high-level speakers and followed by two-panel discussions reflecting on EU-OSHA’s role as a constant partner in the changing world of work:
- EU-OSHA — from founding regulation to pan-European partnerships
- EU-OSHA and partners — facing future challenges together
The panel members include high-level EU and national representatives, who have been teaming up with the EU-OSHA both in the past and the future for bringing occupational safety and health to the forefront of public debate. Together they will bring a wealth of experience in occupational safety and health to the discussions.
Following the panel discussions, there will be a reception in the cloisters of the University of Deusto from 18:45 to 19:30.
The celebrations will continue into the evening with an anniversary dinner and concert at the Euskalduna Concert Hall in Bilbao.
