European symposium about Construction and Demolition Waste

In 2013, the European Commission is assessing the application of the Waste Framework Directive 2008/98/CE.
This seminar shall provide contributions from the construction and demolition industries for the assessment.
With high pressure on raw materials and considering the important amount of waste generated by construction and demolition, identifying best practices that could be implemented within other state members could provide a good support.
The Belgium Demolition Association (CASO), member of EDA, is one of the organizers of the event, to be held in Paris on May 23rd and 24th, 2013.
EDA is actively involved on this activity, supporting the members and speaking at some of the workshops.
