According to the European Demolition Industry Report 2015, in 2014, the 33% of the companies reveal to have had a stable volume of business (between -5% and +5%).

With more companies stating slight (between 5% and 15%, 32% of the companies) or significant (+15%, 17% of the companies) increase in their volume of business than slight (between 5% and 15%, 10% of the companies) or significant (-15%, 8% of the companies) reduction, 2014 appears to have been a year in which demolition business has grown lightly.

The forecast for 2015 to the evolution of the volume of business is consistent with the trends that come from 2014.

Even though stability seems to be predominant, increase is going to be bigger than decrease.

41% of the companies expect to remain with the same volume of business, 29% will reflect a slight increase and 10% a significant increase.

Whereas 13% will experience a slight reduction in volume of business and 7% a significant reduction.

European Demolition Industry Report 2016

EDA would like to create a reference methodology to analyze the industry trends of each country and the overall development of the industry in Europe.

For this reason, EDA currently works in a new edition of this report, where the contractors related with the European industry can participate answering the two phases of the study.

The survey has been translated to several languages to avoid mistakes and misinterpretations.

All responses to the questions are anonymous, no identification data of the company is asked, and an overall analysis of the data will be made.

The gathering of information will last until 20th May, and the report will be published by October 2016.
