Over four thousand visitors and 235 exhibitors were present at REMTECH Expo, which was held from 23td to 25th of September in Ferrara, Italy.
The ninth edition of REMTECH Expo consolidated its position as the main event in Italy on the issues of remediation and requalification of contaminated sites, protection of the coast and sediment management, prevention of hydrogeological risk, reuse of inert materials and sustainability of works.
In the REMTECH Expo were present over four thousand visitors and 235 exhibitors (compared with 185 in 2014) from all over Italy, but also from Spain, Ireland, England, China and South Korea; foreign delegations representing Romania, Turkey, Russia and China; four among the world’s leading experts in the field of territory protection, sustainable land remediation and sediment management, including the major general contractors and national contracting authorities (Italferr, ANAS, Autostrade per l’Italia, Terna, Expo 2015 and ANCE); one hundred conference sessions on remediation, innovation, hydrogeological instability and hydraulic risk, excavation materials, ports and sediments, sustainable works, industry.
“We have seen an increase of the technological and innovative components, with drones, robots, cutting-edge software. It was very intense also the interaction between producers and users of technologies, services and tools for the environment remediation and protection, with operating working tables and start-up of new projects”, said the REMTECH project manager, Ms. Silvia Paparella.
