Final Conference of the IRCOW Project on October 24, 2013

On October 24th, 2013, the IRCOW project organises a final conference about the activities done these three years.
IRCOW stands for Innovative Strategies for High-Grade Material Recovery from Construction and Demolition Waste.
EDa has being actively involved on this European collaborative project, funded under the Seventh Framwork Programme.
In fact, the very first public presentation of the project was done at the EDA Annual Conference, held in London on 2011.
The key topics for this final conference will be:
- Smart and efficient processes to enable reuse of building components recovered from C&DW.
- Innovative sorting technologies for C&DW recycling systems.
- High-grade construction materials and components from recycled C&DW.
- Innovations in practice: results of the IRCOW case studies (approaches and products).
- Techno-economic and environmental assessments of innovative technologies and products.
- Expert recycling tool assessing environmental and human health risks.
- E-tool for C&DW recovered materials reuse.
- Policy recommendations.
EDA will be present at conference, to sahre the results and best practices learned throughout the project.
