The Demolition Conference 2016 of the German Demolition Association, DA, which will be held on March, 4-5, 2016, in Berlin, has already confirmed its program, where EDA will be present as a speaker.
The Demolition Conference has been held in Berlin every March since 1995.
Since the German Demolition Association, Deutscher Abbruchverband e.V, took over this traditional event in 2011, it has become more international thanks to simultaneous translation into English and French.
More than 700 visitors and 80 exhibitors now frequently take part in Europe’s largest demolition convention, which is open to anyone interested in the subject of demolition.
Visitors consist of demolition contractors, employees of engineering offices, representatives of public authorities and site managers.
Approximately 20 presentations ensure a quick and varied series of current and interesting topics on the subject of demolition, where the speakers are considered experts on their field.
This year, EDA will participate through its Secretary General, Mr. Jose Blanco, with a presentation called “The path to an European protocol of construction- and demolition-waste”.
All the speakers report about the latest developments and innovations in the areas of technology, removal of toxic waste, recycling, health & safety and accident prevention.
The “dialogue evening“ on Friday, after the presentations, provides all attendees an excellent opportunity to consolidate existing contacts and make new ones within an informal atmosphere.
The exhibition accompanying the convention is just as much a valuable supplement to the program as the excursions to demolition sites in Berlin on Saturday, the second day of the event.
In March 2015 over 80 companies and institutions presented their products and services in the exhibition.
