The European Demolition Association, EDA, will be present in the event through its Secretary General, Mr. Jose Blanco, who will present a topic called “The path to an European protocol of construction- and demolition-waste”, in the frame of the conference program.

This presentation, and approximately 20 more, will ensure a quick and varied series of current and interesting topics on the subject of demolition addressed to the visitors: contractors, employees of engineering offices, representatives of public authorities and site managers.

The speakers are considered experts on their field, who will report about the latest developments and innovations in the areas of technology, removal of toxic waste, recycling, health & safety and accident prevention.

EDA_DA_Convention_2016The German Demolition Association will celebrate this event in Berlin March 4 and 5, 2016.

The “dialogue evening“ on Friday will provide all attendees an excellent opportunity to consolidate existing contacts and make new ones within an informal atmosphere.

The actual program will inform among others about the demolition of prestressed concrete bridges and demolition works within the new Birmingham railway station with a remote controlled excavator.

Furthermore it will contain such topics as the requirement for early involvement of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) in dismantling projects as well as practical examples of leading German blasting companies.

The exhibition accompanying the convention is just as much a valuable supplement to the program as the excursions to demolition sites in Berlin on the second day.

In March 2015 the exhibition consisted of about 90 booths.

The Demolition Conference has been held in Berlin every March since 1995.

More than 750 visitors and 90 exhibitors took part in Europe’s largest demolition convention in March 2015.

The convention is open to anyone interested in the subject of demolition.
