- The European Demolition Association prepared a new successful session about the IAEA perspectives on decomissioning of nuclear facilities.
The past Wednesday, April 21st, took place our free webinar: IAEA perspectives on decommissioning of nuclear facilities. A session that was led by Mr. Vladimir Michal (IAEA) and Ms. Kristina Gillin (Vysus Group).
In this webinar, both speakers discussed about the decommissioning of nuclear facilities, addressing topics such as the technical aspects to be considered in relation to decontamination, decommissioning and demolition or the principles of circular economy that apply to nuclear decommissioning.
During the session, different case studies were presented and a series of conclusions were drawn regarding the learning curve, before giving space to the attendees. By the end, participants asked questions and made comments about all the webinar topics.
