Goodbye 2015…Welcome 2016!

Another year is finishing and an interesting 2016 is coming.

This year has been very prolific for the European Demolition Association, EDA. The main event for us was our Annual Convention, held in June in Helsinki, Finland. Great speakers, well-prepared conferences and a beautiful place made of this meeting one of the most successful in EDA’s history.

From this moment, until almost the end of 2015, EDA was focus on the elaboration of the European Demolition Industry Report, the very first report ever produced about the European Demolition Industry.

This document is the result of a hard work done by EDA in its objective of helping the demolition in Europe to know itself properly.

Looking at 2016, the prospects cannot be better. First of all, in February, the European Decontamination Institute, EDI, partner organization of EDA, celebrates its Forum, the first in the frame of the European Decontamination.

In order to promote the debate about decontamination activities and those non-identified hazardous waste streams, the event will take place on February, 10, in Brussels, Belgium.

After that, in June, EDA will celebrate its 2016 Annual Convention, which this time, will be held in the fantastic city of Glasgow. A special event for EDA because there will be a change of President. After three years with the honor of being the President of the EDA, my presidency is finishing.

My colleague Mr. William Sinclair, currently Vice President of EDA, will take over the mantle from me.

I would like to wish him good luck, an excellent professional who knowns perfectly our association after his many years of experience in it.
