12/06/2012

This year’s EDA Convention (14th – 16th June 2012) will be a great moment to get updated information about hazardous waste and how to deal with it.

In order to discuss this matter and be able to learn more about it, a whole conference session about waste will be held.

One of the speakers presenting at this conference session is Mr. Robert Klotzbach, Director of Decommissioning at ERM , who will give a speech called “Hazardous waste: what is out there and what is coming up”.

As the Global Director of Decommissioning, Decontamination and Demolition (DDD ) for ERM , Robert supports the development, design, bidding and technical management of environmental-related decontamination, demolition, dredging and platform installation and removal projects.

Klotzbach has more than 25 years of experience in industrial and chemical manufacturing facility decontamination and demolition.

He has worked on and offshore in the US , Europe, Africa, South America and the Middle East remediating and demolishing facilities dealing with hazardous chemicals and substances for the Fortune 500.

The majority of his work has been performed in the industrial chemical processing industry, high technology industry, power sector and the oil industry. Robert is a 1976 graduate of West Point and a Principal Partner at ERM .
