HERCAL goes one step further in its commitment for circular economy

HERCAL DIGGERS, a company specializing in the circular demolition of buildings, warehouses and large industrial facilities, has started up the H-ZERO Plant in Terrassa (Barcelona). It’s the first Valorization plant in Spain that transforms stone waste from demolition works into treated recycled aggregates suitable for use in the manufacture of sustainable concrete.
With this facility, HERCAL DIGGERS aims to reduce the need for landfills (controlled and uncontrolled) while rationalizing the use of quarries for the manufacture of sustainable concrete (natural resources that are finite), reserving the use of natural aggregates for those applications that require it.
