For more than 5 years, the European Demolition Association has been launching an online survey among contractors to get information to produce its European Industry Report.
In March 2020, the COVID-19 appears and affects the scenario in Europe (lockdown, changes in production,…) and the next year’s forecast.
For this reason, EDA decided to discard the answers received until that moment and conduct a specific questionnaire about the impact of the Covid-19 on the demolition business.
Now that most countries have reactivated their business activity and demolition sites have reopened, the surveys have been relaunched again until 31 July.
The on-line survey includes new questions of interest to both contractors and suppliers, in addition of the general questions about the companies, the evolution in 2019 and the forecast for 2020.
All responses to the questions are anonymous, no identification data of the company is asked, and an overall analysis of the data will be made, to produce the European Industry Report 2020.
This year, the industry report will be available in 11 languages (English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Serbian, Swedish and Russian) and is aimed at demolition contractors. Only one questionnaire per company is needed.
We encourage demolition contractors companies to complete the survey to achieve that the information included in the Industry Report is more comprehensive every year.
So for those of you who also do DECONTAMINATION activities, you may also want to fill out the specific survey that EDI has prepared. You can answer it by choosing the country where you work.
In return for the effort and time spent answering these surveys, according to your profile, participants will get free online access for consultation to the European Demolition Industry Report 2020 and/or the European Decontamination Industry Report.
