What happens if new materials or waste streams are identified on the jobsite, and they were not informed before (on a previous audit or assessment)?
In Europe, the 57% of the works are stopped till those materials and new quotation for waste management is approved.
On the other hand, the 18% of the work continues under the responsibility of the main contractor.
Finally, for the 25% nothing happens, all the operations continue and the contractor/subcontract or which finds the materials is responsible for their management.
This data has been extracted from the European Demolition Industry Report 2016, where this data can be also found country by country.

European Demolition Industry Report 2017
EDA already prepares a new edition of this document through its Statistics Group and it will be published in June, in the frame of the trade fair DDR Expo 2017.
In order to gather the information from contractors, EDA has designed an on-line survey that has been translated into several languages to avoid mistakes and misinterpretations.
The survey includes general questions about the companies, the evolution in 2016 and the forecast for 2017.
All responses to the questions are anonymous, no identification data of the company is asked, and an overall analysis of the data will be made.
IMPORTANT: It is addressed to demolition contractors. Only one questionnaire per company. The gathering of information will last until 31st March
