12/11/2014
Mr. Rudall took over the mantle from outgoing president Mr. Steve Jack at the annual AGM of the Institute of Demolition Engineers that was held in London, England, the 14th of November.
“The day I became a member of the IDE was the proudest day of my life, other than my marriage and the arrival of my children. It gave me a great sense of achievement within the industry and a feeling of recognition from my peers.” said Mr. Rudall.
During the meeting, Mr. Steve Jack addressed the members explaining how his two years as President has flown by before reporting on the IDE joining the Construction Industry Council and how the Institute has approached other industry members to come and see how IDE operates.
Other officer positions were announced during the event resulting from the recent membership election, with David Darsey elected as vice president and Stuart Accleton elected to the post of honorary treasurer.
Gary Bishop, Terry Quarmby, Michael Ulyatt, Vernon Watson and John Woodward were elected to the IDE management council at the AGM.
