
The presence of RITCHIE BROS. at BAUMA trade show was a successful once again. The auction company welcomed a lot of visitors at its stand that enjoyed a cosy ‘Oktoberfest’ theme, with hostesses in traditional Bavarian outfits, award winning local beers, tasty bretzls and an international team of representatives.
Several touch screens in RITCHIE BROS. stand, loaded with an interactive app especially programmed for BAUMA, provided a fun way for visitors to learn about selling and buying at an auction.
More recently, the RITCHIE BROS. team in Edmonton (Canada) broke the record for largest ever Canadian auction.In five days they sold 10,200 equipment items and registered 16,700 bidders from 55 countries. The auction generated CAD 240 million in auction proceeds.
In the next weeks Ritchie Bros. will hold several heavy equipment auctions in Europe which include a number of demolition equipment and attachments, including unused items.
Particularly interesting are the upcoming auctions in Donington (UK), Caorso (Italy) and Tampere (Finland). In June yet again opportunities will be available to buy demolition equipment.
The RITCHIE BROS. upcoming auction in Moerdijk (Netherlands) on June 29 & 30 features a selection of Caterpillar 345DL UHD and 336DL UHD demolition excavators and an auction in North East (US) on June 14th will include a Komatsu PC450LC and a Hitachi ZX480LCK.
