Resounding success of think tank

The think tank about recycling and end-of-life of construction products was organized by the European Demolition Association, EDA, in partnership with Construction Products Europe, CPE.

The event was held on October 16th in Brussels (Belgium) and it brought together professionals of the demolition industry and several associations of manufacturers of construction products.

There was a panel of experts to introduce the topics and the key goal of the meeting was to generate an open debate from the members of EDA and CPE.

Two sessions of debate were held that day:

• Recycling construction and demolition waste, with the presentations about the TRACIMAT system from CASO, the Belgian national demolition association,
• End-of-life-of-construction products, with two presentations, one from the NFDC, the British national demolition federation, about DIRDS and a general view of CPE presented by its Secretary General.

The event finished with a light lunch to encourage networking and collective thinking.
