The second edition of the trade fair ASBESTOS 2016 was held from 6th to 7th of April in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
With more than 5,000 visitors, the event was a success, partly because of the presence of the most important companies and organizations of the decontamination industry.
Installation companies, certification institutes, insurance companies and manufacturers of asbestos substitutes had the opportunity to learn more about new techniques in the removal of asbestos.
The event was not only for companies related with asbestos removal, it was also interesting for construction companies, maintenance organizations, associations and architects.
Given the success of the ASBESTOS 2015 fairs and 2016 for participants and visitors of the fair, the organization has decided to continue with the organization of this trade fair in the even years from now.
The ban on asbestos ceilings, which comes into effect in 2024, means that the sector has a huge task ahead to achieve this objective satisfactorily, where trade fairs like ASBESTOS will be even more important.
