SAP, the Finnish Federation of Asbestos and Dust Renovation, joins EDA as a new member

The European Demolition Association (EDA) is pleased to welcome a new member: SAP, the Finnish Federation of Asbestos and Dust Renovation. It is a national association of companies involved in the decontamination of asbestos, one of the most common hazardous substances in our environment.
Founded in 1988 as a request to set standards for work safety in the removal of asbestos and other hazardous substances, it is the federation that represents Hands-On professionalism and expertise in surveys, renovation, and removal of asbestos and other hazardous substances.
Its main activities are cooperation with authorities, participation in the preparation of the current asbestos legislation (2016), the celebration of annual conventions and benchmarking abroad, and international cooperation and memberships. They continuously work to obtain the best practices in the field in Finland and internationally.
Their members consist of demolition companies, laboratories, equipment and suppliers, asbestos and contaminant experts (AHA), building health specialists (RTA), and educational organizations.
EDA is proud to welcome SAP into our network and looks forward to fruitful collaboration in promoting the highest standards across the demolition sector in Europe.
