On November 28, 2025, the Serbian Demolition Association celebrated its seventh annual SDA conference under the title LAWS-PLANS.PROJECTS.
The SDA, which is part of EDA, celebrated the event in Belgrade, at the Majestic Hotel, and it presented new interdisciplinary, technological, and legal improvements in their country, in the field of construction and related technical sciences.
EDA was there too, with some publication and the participation of Mr. Igor Keskes Maconkai, member of the Board of Directors, who opened the meeting.
The presentations about the improvement of circular economy attracted special attention, as well as the ones about certification, new roles in the field and training.
They also presented a nice example of the circular economy with the sustainable project of one of their members. In the debates after the professional presentations, the participants pointed out the importance of improving the fundamental laws for the work of this construction industry, but also the unjustified “wrestling with documentation”.
For them, the awarding of the national award for “Circular Economy in Construction – 2025” is extremely important and because of that, this year’s laureates were: Miroslav Čantrak, doctoral thesis Ivona Stoiljkovič, master’s thesis Dušan Trajković, master’s thesis, both awarded at the event.
“The conclusion is that interdisciplinary in the field of engineering and construction, with the improvement of knowledge and the application of modern technologies, innovations and materials, is necessary in order to regain the reputation and place in the world that we once had” says Bojović, President of the SDA.
