Six Japanese demolition companies will welcome us on the EDA Study Tour 2019

Six of the most important Japanese construction and demolition equipment companies will welcome us with open arms on the EDA Study Tour 2019 to show us their facilities and share with us their knowledge and experience about demolition, decommissioning and C&D recycling in Japan.

The companies that will be our host during this professional trip are (by chronological order of visits during EDA Study Tour 2019):

On May 20, we will visit the HITACHI facilities, specifically the Tsuchiura factory, located in Ibaraki prefecture. After that, the members of EDA delegation will enjoy lunch and networking with our host exchange experiences and make new contacts.

In the afternoon, NPK NIPPON will make us a presentation about the company to learn more about the way they work, their novelties and their know-how in construction.

On May 21, OKADA AIYON will open us the doors of its Okada Aiyon Plant, on the outskirts of Tokyo, to tour its facilities and share a meal while building professional relationships.

The next day an intense day will await us. EDA delegation will start the journey with the visit to the KOBELCO’s facilities: its Hiroshima factory is specialized in manufacturing demolition equipment.

After lunch with our host, we will visit KOMATSU’s plant in Osaka, the mother plant of several of its core products (equipment of construction, mining and utility equipment, and logistics), and we will finish the day with a dinner hosted by CATERPILLAR, in Kobe.

On May 23, CATERPILLAR will welcome us in the Akashi Campus, a key development base where are the Hydraulic Excavator Development Center (HEDC) and the Akashi Plant. And the next day, our host will accompany us to visit one of the biggest demolition sites: the old CATERPILLAR plant, close to Tokyo.
