The Committee for European Construction Equipment, CECE, together with most of the greater European construction industry associations has released “The European Construction Industry Manifesto for Digitalisation” a couple of weeks ago, the 11th of June.
The aim of this manifesto is to transform the EU policy so as to prioritise the political leadership from the EU, ensure an appropriate regulatory framework on data policy and develop a new EU budget which has to be focused on digital skills, R&D and IT infraestructure.
The European Construction Industry Manifesto for Digitalisation underlines the importance of an effective regulation to ensure sector’s competitiveness and adoption of the digital transformation.
“European construction industry is already adjusting to the digital transformation, however the support from the EU policymakers is crucial”, CECE Secretary General Riccardo Viaggi said.
On the other hand, the European Demolition Association, EDA, organizes jointly CECE a Think tank about equipment for demolition that will take place in October 10 in Brussels, Belgium.
