- The results of the survey, aimed at contractors and suppliers from all over Europe, can be seen in the document.
After long months of work, the European Demolition Industry Report 2023 is available to the public.
This document, prepared by the EDA every year, gathers information about the state of the industry provided by the demolition professionals. The responses were collected via two surveys, aimed to contractor and suppliers, from more than a dozen European countries.
The results of the European Demolition Industry Report include data about a great variety of topics, such as the turnover of the companies involved in the sector, evolution of workforce and investment, among others.
In additional, as always, the document includes some forecasts regarding what to expect during the current year.
The European Demolition Industry Report 2023 is available in digital format on the EDA website.
Demolition industry remains cautiously optimistic
While 2023 marks three years since the beginning of the global pandemic and our return to the “new normal”, the effects of it can still be seen in the demolition sector.
As explained by Mr. Andreas Pocha, coordinator of the Industry Report: “while continuing this positive trend, [the forecasts for 2023] show a more cautious attitude due to other destabilizing factors such as inflation, rising energy costs and the difficulty of finding skilled labour”.
