The initiative Built4People is entering the last stage thanks to the participation of the European construction associations

The European Demolition Association, EDA, has participated in the informal consultation on the Built4People Partnership’s Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) to continue its involvement in the Research & Innovation partnership for a people-centric sustainable built environment (‘Built4People’) under Horizon Europe.

EDA has been involved in this initiative, started by the DG-ENERGY of the European Commission, since the beginning in 2019 with the plenary stakeholder meeting organized in December

One of the last steps in making this project a reality is the SRIA, the strategic document that contains a roadmap of concrete actions that will lead to eventual implementation.

The Built4People partnership will provide a cross-cutting structure, bringing together public and private sectors, to create research and innovation pathways based on a holistic view of the built environment for sustainability and better living.
