The Raw Materials Week 2018 present the conclusions of the HISER standardisation workshop

During the 3rd edition of the EU Raw Materials Week, HISER organizes a workshop and the following conference to present the outcomes from the different project activities and experiences on recycling and recovery of raw materials gathered throughout the project.

Both events will take place on 16th November, in Brussels (Belgium), the last day of the Raw Materials Week.

The workshop will build on the key findings and outcomes from the Horizon 2020 project HISER about Certification and Standardization issues related to new products involving secondary C&DW-recovered raw materials.

These meeting and round table will offer to the EU, the manufacturers and any other stakeholders the opportunity to discuss the state of the art and existing gaps for unmet needs in Standardization and Certification for innovative products developed within the project (with a deeper focus on Concrete/Aggregates and WPC-Wood Plastic Composites), concurring to boost the market uptake of new solutions and products.

After the workshop, the conference will present the conclusions of the different activities and meetings about recycling and recovery of raw materials.

The Raw Materials Week will take place from Monday 12 to Friday 16 November 2018 in Brussels. It builds upon a series of events organized by the European Commission addressing the latest news on raw materials in the EU.

It will be a unique opportunity for the raw materials community to discuss and exchange on all relevant issues: policy, technology, international cooperation, framework conditions, knowledge base etc.
