The European Demolition Association, EDA, cooperates with the Eurpean Decontamination Institute, EDI, in the organization of the event, to be held the 10th of February, 2016, in Brussels, Belgium.
The event is free of charge, but the registration through the wensite of EDI is mandatory, which for one person includes the participation of the Forum, accreditation and list of participants, coffee breaks and networking lunch.
The organization has already announced the panelists confirmed to the session 1 of the conference program Mr. Patrick Frye, from CARDEM, Mr. Stephen Schindler, from EFBWW, and Mr. Gunther Wolff, from DG Environment – European Commission.
Mr. Patrick Frye is the Technical Director of the French company CARDEM, a one of the most important companies in the demolition industry in Europe, and Board Member of EDA.
Mr. Stephen Schindler, is the representant of the European Federation of Building and Woodworkers, EFBWW,the European Industry Federation for the construction industry, the building materials industry, the wood and furniture industry and the forestry industry.
The Federation’s main task is to represent its affiliates in Europe and help them defend the rights and interests of the workers in the industries it covers.
Mr. Gunther Wolff is the representant of the Sustainable Production and Consumption of the Directorate General for Environment of the European Commission, EC.
The session 1 of the event will be focus on the challenges and opportunities of the decontamination of hazardous waste industry.
In addition, SMH has confirmed his presence in the EDI Forum 2016 as a exhibitor.
SMH is an end-to-end solution for the decontamination process, ensuring that people and the environment are protected from exposure to potentially hazardous substances.
