SEDDRe’s Rencontres des Métiers 2026 is around the corner

The French association SEDDRe will hold the 2026 edition of its Rencontres des Métiers on 3 and 4 June at the Orléans Conference Centre, bringing together professionals from the depollution, deconstruction and construction waste management sectors for two days of technical exchange and strategic discussion.

Organised under the leadership of Alexandre Doyère and the SEDDRe Board of Directors, the event comes at a time of significant transformation for the industry, driven by evolving regulations, decarbonisation targets and economic challenges affecting the construction sector.

Key discussions will include new regulatory and technical developments in asbestos removal and hazardous materials management, including the transposition of the European asbestos directive, developments related to the Demat@amiante platform, and evolving occupational safety requirements.

The programme will also explore the impact of the energy crisis and decarbonisation objectives on the deconstruction value chain, as well as SEDDRe’s forward-looking study examining market developments through to 2040.
