Which training should have the person who is going to operate the quick coupler?
The person who is going to operate the quick coupler must be competent to work safely carrying out the operations. To assess such competence training is usually required, and the employer must provide the personnel with it, either in-house or by an external training provider.
The training needs will depend on the level of responsibility of the individual, the degree of complexity of the task, and the risks involved. Although, generally, it should include the learning of the following aspects:

- Benefits
- Limitations
- Provided components
- Operation

- Combination of devices and components: how they work together
- Maintenance & Inspection

However, it should be considered that where the type of quick coupler to be used is outside the employee’s previous experience, additional training should be provided
Additionally, it is very important that all the operators who have completed their training, receive refresher training from time to time, to ensure that they keep in mind all the relevant information. And they will need to received training if there are any changes in the working methodology.
