Presentation

The European Circular Economy Awards in Construction, an initiative by the European Demolition Association, aims to give visibility to innovative student projects across Europe focused on demolition, decontamination, and recycling in the construction sector. These awards help publicize new projects, highlight the work of specialized companies, and promote careers in demolition and recycling.

By making these fields interesting for students, the awards attract fresh talent to the sector.

Additionally, it emphasize the critical role of demolition, decontamination, and recycling in achieving a circular economy in construction, fostering the exchange of information and innovative ideas.

Who can participate?

The European Circular Economy Awards in Construction aim to recognize young talent, with participation exclusively open to students. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, or any other course at an accredited educational institution. Submitted projects should be directly related to the award’s focus areas: demolition, decontamination, recycling, or a combination of these disciplines.

Each National Association will be responsible for selecting the three best projects from their country to be submitted for evaluation at the European level, ensuring that only the most innovative and impactful projects reach the final stage of the awards.
