EDA supports the national association

On April 22nd, the European Demolition Association visited its members in Finland to support them and share the actual developements related with the industry.
The meeting was organized by the Finnish Demolition Association (FDA) in Helsinki (FINLAND).
The objectives of the meeting were to talk about the relevant topics of the industry in this country, help with the development of the association in Finland and to exchange information about the EU waste legislation framework.
Waste Policy and Legislation
The European Commission is working on the review of waste policy and legislation where EDA is actively involved on the review process.
The European Demolition Association is working very closely with the Waste Management Unit of the European Commission to provide relevant information on waste streams coming from the demolition industry.
To do so, EDA is working with the demolition associations and related organizations at national level to compile information from the perspective of the demolition contractors and related companies.
C&DW management in the EU: the way forward
The European Commission will be at the Deconstruction Forum to introduce the situation of CDW management in the EU to all the participants.
