The European Demolition association, EDA, confirms the presence of over than 150 professionals and the support of 14 supplier companies as sponsors in the event.
The EDA 2016 Annual Convention will take place on June, 9-11, 2016, in Glasgow, Scotland (UK).
On Thursday, June 9th, the first activity will be a workshop called “Assessment of Construction and Demolition Waste Streams prior to Demolition or Renovation of Buildings and Infrastructures”, presented and moderated by TECNALIA (Coordinators of HISER H2020 project and the EU Specific Contract on Pre-demolition Audit).
After that, EDA will celebrate its General Assembly (only for EDA members) in order to review the main subjects of the association, as well as the common issues of the demolition industry in Europe.
Finally, on this day, the attendants and companions will enjoy a welcome cocktail, in order to have a first contact between each other.
On Friday, June 10th, it will be time for the conference session, where experienced professionals will share with the audience its knowledge about interesting topics and case stories.
For the companions of the professionals, EDA has organized a fantastic leisure program to Edinburgh.
At night, it will be the time for the Gala Dinner, where it will take place the change of EDA President, because Ms. Pilar de la Cruz finishes her mandate and will be the turn of Mr. William Sinclair, managing director of SAFEDEM.
On Saturday, June 11th, the assistants will enjoy a leisure program with a guided visit for Glasgow.
