Final report of the IRCOW Proyect

The “Innovative Strategies for High Grade Material Recovery from Construction and Demolition Waste” (IRCOW) project has introduced some interesting results related to managing Construction and Demolition Waste (C&DW).

The three years length project was finished on January 17, 2014 and focused on one of the European Union’s largest waste streams: Construction and Demolition Waste.

The main goal of the IRCOW project (2011-2014) was to develop and validate enhanced solutions by considering a life cycle perspective.

One of the most precious values of the project is a series of five observations at real construction or demolition sites which were performed in different parts of Europe.

Now, the final report of the project with the main conclussions has being released and it is available for download.
